Regardless of which hand is dominant, right/left; that is no concern with playing games on the web. As long as you play the game and have fun, you are doing just fine. Isn’t it a bit interesting that the fact you’re left-handed matters in many other games/sports but not online gaming. With online gaming, at the worst you’ll need to get a mouse to accomodate if you’re left-handed, but then again you probably already had one – so that’s it. Now onto some cool tips for gaming online.
You want to be a full patch part of a MMORPG (Massive MultiPlayer Online Role Playing Game)? Thought so, well you’ll need to keep yourself informed about the game and what’s new with it. Of course you must have the gear, left-handed mouse and any keyboard shorts, but staying with the news of your game is most critical.
You’re also going to need to do some extracurricular reading at the appropriate forums and other net locales pertinent to your game of choice. Why is that a must-do action? Well if you’re serious about your game and community, you will need to know when game upgrades happen, patches/fixes are released, any kinds of special community events, and anything important to the tribe. Also, a lot of these kinds of important pieces of information are only announced in forums, etc. You probably already know about the importance of speed and bandwidth when you’re doing something that is resource intensive. Probably the hardest situation to deal with is if you’re forced to use a dial-up modem. We’re not quite sure what to tell you if you have an old, slow PC – do something to upgrade. So check-out the spec requirements for whatever you’ll be doing and try to get yourself there. Any game you buy will have a list of recommended specs for optimal gaming experience, and you can use that as a guide for what you’ll need. Take the time to check everything out so you’re not angry if you run it and it’s working at about 50%.
Work on improving your game. Don’t get into a rut, but keep leveling up. Get as many trinkets, gear or rewards that you can accumulate in these games. The point is to set regular goals for yourself when you play, so you made steady progress. This keeps your mind occupied and makes the game more challenging and fun. It gives you a feeling of accomplishment, even if you’re only playing a game on a computer. Without any goals, what’s the point in playing? If, on the other hand, you are searching for magical weapons and accumulating piles of gold, you’ll have more fun.
Online gaming can be really rewarding and fulfilling. It is a good way to meet other people. It’s a way to escape the pressures of everyday life. Of course, if you want to have fun with online gaming it is important that you do your best to be a good player. That can mean having the right equipment (like investing in one of the left handed mouses) and being friendly to others even if you find them annoying (kind of like when you are at work). You shouldn’t, however, worry about it. Having fun is the most important online gaming rule!
